CONCEALER OR FOUNDATION FIRST?
Concealer is designed to add extra coverage to certain areas. You’ll want to apply your foundation first to create an even canvas and then follow-up with concealer to add additional coverage to specific spots. However, if you are using a powder foundation, apply your concealer first.

LIQUID VS. CREAM CONCEALER?
When choosing between a liquid vs. cream concealer, consider your skin and the look you want to achieve.
Liquid Concealers
These tend to be thinner and more versatile, offering sheer-to-medium coverage with buildable matte and radiant finishes. They’re perfect for days where you want light coverage while still correcting small spots or brightening the undereye area. For a matte liquid concealer, try our Studio Fix 24-hour Smooth Wear Concealer. For a radiant liquid concealer, we recommend the Studio Radiance 24hr Luminous Lift Concealer.
Cream Concealers
These are thicker and offer more opaque coverage. They’re typically worn over your Foundation on days you’re looking to really cover up specific areas. The Studio Fix Conceal and Correct Palette is the perfect way to discover the power of cream concealers.
HOW DO YOU APPLY CONCEALER?
How you apply your concealer matters just as much as the formula itself. Apply concealer to any areas of concern in a stippling motion with a 270s Brush, fingertip or a makeup sponge. Layer as needed.
WHAT IS A FULL-COVERAGE CONCEALER?
Full-coverage concealers are primarily used to cover red spots, acne scarring, dark spots or other blemishes you’re looking to hide. Sheer coverage provides subtle coverage, allowing your natural skin tone to show through. Full-coverage, cream-based concealers help you achieve an immaculate, blemish-free-looking complexion while still being lightweight enough to wear under the eyes without creasing or caking.
